The Office of Foundations and Sponsored Programs is responsible for seeking major institutional grants and coordinates all activities related to proposal funding. The director works directly with faculty members and administrators to seek grants in areas such as faculty research, professional development and community outreach projects that enhance student learning and student life. Foundations and Sponsored Programs helps to ensure that each grant-funded project is well planned, that it furthers the University’s educational mission, and that it maintains high standards in representing the University of Mount Olive to granting organizations.

The University of Mount Olive thrives because of the support of numerous individuals. We are a private institution rooted in the liberal arts tradition with defining Christian values. The University, sponsored by the Convention of Original Free Will Baptists, has locations in Mount Olive, New Bern, Wilmington, Goldsboro, Research Triangle Park, Washington and Jacksonville.
